The size 1 HPT22 TRAM can accommodate up to 2MBytes of flash EPROM and an on-board processor. The device consists of a T225 processor normally configured to boot-from-ROM with external memory as ROM to provide non-volatile program and data storage. Special memory mapped ports provide access to the programming facilities. The configuration can support an arbitrary mix of programs and data, so that almost any user defined bootstrap sequence can be supported. Full software support is provided, allowing the HPT22 to be easily programmed in most transputer development environments.
