The Ultra/XL provides 10 TRAM slots on a full-sized ISA board.
As a Host System Interface, the Ultra/XL provides four external TLINKs through a
32X32 cross bar connection between the 16-bit ISA interface, the TRAM sites, and
the external TLINKs. Standard TRAMs (Transputer Modules) may be placed on the
board and included in any arbitrary topology. This board is used primarily in
low-end ISA-based PC's.
The Ultra/XL-PLUS includes an on-board CTRAM 25-4F as the eleventh processing
node. The Ultra-XL-SCSI includes an on-board SCSI-2 controller (Target or
Initiator).
