AltaTech AL\V66 Scaleable 21066 Alpha Node

21066 Alpha - 166/200/233 MHz The award winning floating point engine has the 64-bit horsepower to meet your most demanding needs for computation.
ALINK engines (0,2,4) Built into the AL/V66 are 0, 2, or 4 ALINKs for a maximum 200 MByte/Second BURST bandwidth (50 MBytes sustained). These DMA devices are able to communicate with other devices without sapping cycles from the Alpha -- through a built-in communications processor.
High speed memory subsystem Alta uses the fastest "all-cache" architecture to insure that the Alpha doesn't starve for data. EDRAM from RAMTRON contains both SRAM and DRAM on the same chip -- caching is automatic.
TLINK compatibility In addition to VxWorks, Alta supports all of the transputer paradigms from Logical Systems and other transputer manufacturers. TLINKs on the AL/V66 can be used to boot the processor and to communicate through TCP/IP protocol
